CAD Conversion & Visual Viewing
Convert native 3D CAD files that are attached to your Propel Items, then interact with them, natively inside of Salesforce

1. Go to your item record.
2. Click on step
3. Click on Show more actions
4. Click on CAD Attachment Conversion
5. Select 400-99953:B* from *
6. Click on Next
7. Select STC4054_NCP1450.step from *
8. Click on dialog
9. Click on Next
10. Click on dialog
11. Click on dialog
12. After a successful conversion, you will see a success notification that the file was created. This also creates the Attachment record for the revision.
13. Click on dialog
14. Click to close the dialog
15. Refresh your screen, then select the revision you were just using for conversion
16. We were using Revision B, select it.
17. Notice the newly converted file in the attachments section
18. Let's take a look at this viewable now. Click on Show more actions
19. Click on Viewable Attachment Viewer
20. Select your revision
21. Click on Next
22. Select the newly converted file STC4054_NCP1450.glb from the dropdown
23. Click on Next
24. Now the visual is interactable. Feel free to zoom in by scrolling or playing with the action (gear icon) menu
25. Let's take a snapshot of this perspective
26. Click on Show Action menu
27. Click on Take Snapshot
28. Click on Attach the image to a record
29. Now we want to attach this to the parent Item record, let's find it. Type "Item"
30. Click on PDLM__Item__c
31. Locate your record, recent records will be shown, or you can search by Name
32. Once selected, name and Click on Add File to Record
33. Notice the new alert, the snapshot was taken successfully.
34. Close the dialog when finished, or feel free to take more screenshots
35. To add that snapshot to this revision, navigate to the attachments and Click on Add
36. Click on Search
37. locate the snapshot
38. Select the checkbox
39. Click on Add
40. Once added, you can Annotate Attachments using the menu option
