View Related 3D Converted files on a record
Viewing files that are web native is extremely simple but adds quite a bit of value, especially avoiding expensive CAD software licenses for viewing.. Follow these steps to view the related 3D files
# In your Salesforce org, add the 3D File Viewer component to your Lightning page
1. If files are related to the record, e.g. post CAD Conversion, Click on Related 3D Files…
2. Fully interactive 3D Display is available as a popup
3. More actions are available on pressing of the Action Menu
4. To add more native file types to the record for viewing, Click on Upload Files…
This works for GLB, GLTF, STL, and OBJ files by default. Convert your CAD files if needed before doing this using the renderdraw conversion API
