Take a snapshot

Take a snapshot of the 2D environment and attach it to a Salesforce Record

1. Go to Your record on Salesforce page where the 2D component has been added.

Ensure the user has the RenderDraw User permission set

2. Add your items to the screen either by data with the passed in Canvas, or by dragging and dropping.

3. Select "on"

4. Once ready to take a snapshot, view the toolbar on the 2D component

5. Select the snapshot button

if this button isn't here, ensure your 2D scene settings were properly setup with the "show take snapshot button" selected in the environment options

6. Once the preview dialog opens, either download or attach the image to a record

7. Click on Attach the image to a record

8. The updated dialog opens, this is where you can rename the file and select the file type

9. Find your record by searching for the object and name of the record to associate

10. Click on Add File to Record

11. A confirmation message will confirm the snapshot was saved


2D - Taking a snapshot
Once the preview dialog opens, either download or attach the image to a record
Select "on"
Select the snapshot button
Add your items to the screen either by data with the passed in Canvas, or by dragging and dropping.
Once ready to take a snapshot, view the toolbar on the 2D component
Click on Attach the image to a record
A confirmation message will confirm the snapshot was saved
Find your record by searching for the object and name of the record to associate
The updated dialog opens, this is where you can rename the file and select the file type
Click on Add File to Record
